Ford Driverside Inlet
In addition to the specifications common to all RaceMate Alternators (click here to view common specs), the RaceMate Sportsman Ford Small Block Alternator has the following features:
- Left hand inlet
- Mounting bolt bosses are the same height
- Flange height stock length. Ford pump available .650 short
- Bearing center line is moved up .070 so all belt and pulley combinations (Gilmer, HTD, & Serpentine) as offered on all RaceMate Alternators can be used
- This unit is very light weight and does not use the thick steel adapter plate of a stock Ford pump
- The RaceMate Alternator is designed to fit the Windsor front cover
- This is not a Cleveland water pump
- Pictured with race serpentine setup

- Right side inlet
- Inlet has been lengthened to eliminate fan hitting hose, a frequent problem when using a stock Ford pump

- Lower Pulley
- Timing Disk
- Timing Pointer

- Choice of 5" or 7" Pulley
- Belt
- 2300 Pro Sportsman pump (not pictured) has 7 vane billet aluminum impeller for improved pressure and water flow
